Legal Shred Announces Purchase of New Shredding Truck

The identity protection company announced the purchase of a 4th truck in its Florida fleet for its 4th year of business.

(Gibsonton, FL) — Legal Shred, the identity protection company announced the purchase of a new mobile shredding truck, which will be added to its Florida shredding fleet. The truck was delivered at the Mobile Shredding Association (MSA) Conference on October 9, 2016 by Shred-Tech and Mark McKenna.  To date, Mark has sold 15 trucks to Sean Fredricks of Legal Shred, Inc.

“Legal Shred is not a storefront business,” said Jason Fredricks, Founder and Vice-President of Legal Shred, Inc. “Legal Shred takes our business to our customers, therefore, it is essential that we provide both our customers and employees the equipment necessary to bring safe and secure document destruction right to the doorstep.”

Mobile shredding trucks are a bit of an engineering marvel. Where in-house shredders fail, mobile shredding trucks succeed. These machines can destroy up to 8,000 lb. of paper an hour and have the ability to store 5,000 to 20,000 lbs. of shredded paper.

Of course, mobile shredding trucks aren’t exclusive to shredding paper. They are equipped to destroy media as well, including CDs, DVDs, hard drives, and product overruns.

“Adding a fourth truck to our existing Florida shredding fleet will help us service more clients efficiently, while offering more flexibility in scheduling to our growing customer base,” said Fredricks.

Legal Shred, Inc. was started by brothers Jason and Sean Fredricks and has rapidly grown into one of the largest shredding services in the state of Florida. Jason and Sean are also Co-Owners with Judith Papo of Legal Shred New York which offers shredding services in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.  The Legal Shred, Inc. staff are experts in helping businesses of all kinds comply with state and federal document destruction laws while keeping documents secure and safe.
