Detectives originally arrested Ashley Day because she had a warrant out of Massachusetts, but they said she may have also been ripping people off and they found her with large amounts of cash and more than 100 tickets to local theme parks.

Authorities said the 22-year-old was wanted in Massachusetts for stealing from banks, but said it may not have stopped her from committing more crimes in Orlando.

Orange County detectives said she worked at several restaurants in the Disney area, including Pizzeria Uno’s, where she was accused of stealing customers’ credit card numbers to commit fraud via the Internet and mail services.

According to an Orange County report, detectives arrested Day at a UPS store in Orlando on Wednesday. They said they found a large sum of money and more than 100 tickets to local theme parks.

No one answered the door at Day’s apartment Friday, but there was a note for a FedEx delivery dated one day after Day’s arrest.

Ashley Day was in the Orange County jail on no bond Friday. The arrest report says identity theft charges for crimes in Orange County are still pending.

Eyewitness News wanted to know more about why Day had so many theme park tickets, but no one from the sheriff’s office would talk about the case.
