We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in the world of secure information governance and management as our own Gina Lentine has been installed as the President of the Board at i-SIGMA® (International Secure Information Governance & Management Association). This momentous occasion occurred during the 2024 i-SIGMA Conference & Expo held from April 3-5 in Nashville, TN, USA.
Gina brings a wealth of experience to her new role, with nearly 15 years of expertise in information governance serving the Legal Shred team and sister company, MedXwaste, Gina has been instrumental in advancing secure data destruction services encompassing paper, IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), medical waste disposal, and electronics recycling. Before working at Legal Shred, Gina co-founded Assured Shred, a successful venture that operated for a decade before its acquisition.
Notably, Gina has been deeply engaged with i-SIGMA for several years, previously serving as Secretary on the Board of Directors and actively participating in the Corporate Partner Engagement Committee. Her commitment to the industry extends beyond the inception of i-SIGMA, as she volunteered extensively with the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) and served on its committees and board of directors before its merger with PRISM, thus becoming i-SIGMA.
Reflecting on her new role, Gina expressed gratitude for the trust placed in her by the i-SIGMA members and her colleagues at Legal Shred. “It is a great honor to be installed as the President of the Board at i-SIGMA,” she shared the news on a LinkedIn post. “Legal Shred continues to support and encourage my growth in this role, for which I am immensely grateful.”
