MEET LENNY
- Tell us a little about yourself and your family. Where is your hometown?
I’m from East Rockaway, NY (born and raised) I Graduated from Lynbrook High School in 2000, Graduated from LIU Post in 2004, and have been in the paper shredding/electronic shredding industry since 2007. I’m a mix of Italian, Irish, German, Jewish and a member of the Roman Catholic Church. I am a big sports fan; I’m a Yankees, Jets, Rangers, Knicks & Notre Dame fan.
- Tell us three things that most people do not know about you.
Well I’m a big fan of Lego, been one since I was about 6-7 years old. Also a big fan of Bob Ross (the painter) and playing video games whether by myself or with my wife and son.
- What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
Well, I enjoy TV, music, movies, comedy, going to sports events, museums, aquariums, zoos, and art galleries, or just staying at home and spending time with my wife and son.
- What do you like to do on your days off?
Spending time with my wife and son whether we’re out food shopping, visiting family and friends or perhaps going to local sporting events or perhaps a movie, museum or library visit that’s what I prefer to do on my off days…That or relax at home and watch TV, LOL.
- What is your role at Legal Shred?
I’m a Customer Care Agent. Basically that means if it’s your first time inquiring about our services, whether it’s paper shredding, electronic shredding, box storage, or Ewaste I’ll be able to assist you or send you off to another member of the team who can.
- Before working at Legal Shred, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I’ve been in the industry for well over 15 years, so when it comes to shredding or destruction services I’ve seen it all. The amazing thing in this industry is when you think you have seen it all, have done it all, in reality, you haven’t seen anything yet.
- What do you like the most about Legal Shred?
