Sensitive documents found in dumpster

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indiana’s Attorney General is investigating after sensitive documents turned up inside a dumpster in Fishers.

They were found in a dumpster behind a Shell station at Interstate 69 and 116th Street.

Investigators for the state’s Attorney General showed up to take the paperwork back to their office.

They’ll inventory the documents and see what they might have been used for.

“Even if it’s old, it’s still usable to the wrong person,” said Abigail Kuzma with the Indiana Attorney General’s Office. “There are folks, go through dumpsters, take out credit cards as a business, professional responsibility, safeguard information of our customers and employees.

So far, the Attorney General’s Office isn’t saying where those documents came from or what’s in them.
