Tampa prison guard pleads guilty to wire fraud and identity theft
TAMPA, FL (WFLX) – A Tampa prison guard has pleaded guilty to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.
Prosecutors say Jerry St. Fleur stole personal information from current and former inmates. They say he used it to file fraudulent tax returns seeking refunds of more than $500,000.
St. Fleur faces up to 20 years behind bars.
